For Dave’s 39th birthday we had a few celebrations. Labor Day weekend the Lennon Clan went to his parents’ house in MD and had a cook out and a little pool party for the kids.
Michele’s friend, Maryjo, came up from NC the weekend of Dave’s actual birthday. Larry, Heather, Britain, and Hilton (family friends) came over for a cook out the Saturday before. Sophia and Alexander had fun playing with the kids and everyone enjoyed cupcakes.
For Dave’s actual birthday that Sunday, Maryjo had lunch with us and hit the road for the long drive home. We sang “happy birthday” a few more times, had left overs from the night before for dinner, went for a walk, and snuck onto the golf course with the kids.
